The internet has brought many things; news, views and sights from sources we've never had available before. Here's this week's round up. And don't forget, if you or a family member has a medical condition, protect yourself with a Mediband - so medical assistance can assess your needs quickly.

1. How much coffee?  It appears a few of us quite enjoy a coffee or two...  but how much should we drink? And is it doing us any good at all? It appears so, the full report is here, but essentially coffee helps lower the risk of diabetes, it can help you burn more fat (by increasing your endurance and possibly delaying the onset of fatigue). Coffee has been shown in some studies to reduce the chance of death - simply because less coffee drinkers in a huge study of something else, tended to die (read into that what you will), and lastly coffee has been shown to reduce the chances of endometrial cancer by some 25%. It's not all bad for you! Although more than two cups a day probably won't help your headaches, jittery nature and your insomnia.

2. Fat loss myths. We all know how hard it is to lose weight, and you've read every magazine article on the subject.  But here are a couple of things to keep in mind. Endless jumping exercises may speed up fat burn, but they are terrible for your joint health. Rather than jump, find some steps and step up, step down in a relaxed fashion for ten minutes or so. You don't need to work out every day to lose weight. Recovery is equally important so exercise two days on, one day off. Nor do you need to move fast to burn fat. So if you're not a runner, don't despair; good resistance training will also do the job.

3. Milk is great for kids.  We read daily about what was good for you yesterday is bad for you today, and that's certainly true of milk and dairy. But a large study over many years has found that kids who drink milk regularly have improved physical ability and balance as adults. Get that white moustache happening! The report is here.
