Why patients ask for medical ID
A medical ID speaks for a patient when they cannot — carrying conditions, allergies, medications and an emergency contact where first responders are trained to look. It is most valuable for patients with epilepsy, diabetes, anaphylaxis, heart conditions, dementia and anticoagulant therapy.
