Having people over during COVID-19

Social gatherings in a home setting is a major way COVID-19 can spread. People feel very comfortable in their home, causing them to become more complacent with social distancing rules. The NSW Government has announced that 20 visitors at a household is allowed, but recommended having 10. On top of this, when guests are over no hugging or kissing should take place. Additionally, applying quality hand sanitiser and washing hands is just as important.  If you break the rules every person may be held individually responsible for a breach of the public health order and a $1,000 fine.

Using public transport

Whilst it is not a law, the NSW Government strongly recommends that when traveling using public transport that you wear a face mask. Additionally carrying a portable and small hand sanitiser is a great way to stay safe on the go.

Fevermates 60ml Australian made hand sanitiser is the perfect size to leave in your handbag or backpacks. It can kill 99.9% of germs and is easy to store.

Also, hand distancers are another useful accessory to carry around. This tool helps limit direct interaction with highly touched surfaces, such as doors, elevator lifts, and touch screens.

Sport events

From 1st October, Sydney stadium capacity increases to 50%, which means up to 40,000 spectators are allowed to attend major sporting events. The NSW Government has advised that when attending sports events, individuals need to be wearing a mask when not seated. Additionally, if you are getting public transport to and from the venue, you need to be wearing a face mask as well. FeverMates fabric face masks are made with 2 layers with a cotton inner and a separate outer printed polyester layer, and a PM2.5 replaceable filter.
