Schools and P&C federations
Australia has 9,653 schools and 4.1 million students. School orders typically combine pre-printed silicone bands (W2668 Autism, B0777 Penicillin Allergy) for known at-risk students with blank write-on bands for first-aid stock. P&C federations buy on behalf of the school.
Residential aged care facilities
Australia has 2,792 residential aged care facilities. The most common RACF order is the W2677 Dementia Alert write-on band for memory-support residents, supplemented by custom-engraved bands for residents with complex multi-condition profiles. Standing monthly orders are common.
NDIS providers and SIL group homes

What comes in a bulk pack
Bulk orders ship as a single consignment with:
- Individual band packaging (each band sealed and labelled by SKU and, for custom-engraved bands, by the specific wearer or order line).
- A consolidated packing slip listing every band by SKU, colour, size, and (for custom-engraved bands) the engraving content per line.
- A tax invoice itemised by SKU and quantity, suitable for school accounts payable, Aged Care provider accounts, NDIS plan manager submission, or hospital procurement.
- For RACF and NDIS provider orders: a printed Quick Start sheet covering how to fit the W2668, B0777, B1792 or W2677 inside strips, how to set the inside writing with hot water, and the recommended replacement cadence.
- For school orders: a printed Action Plan reference sheet matching the ASCIA Action Plan format, so the band engraving aligns with the school health file.

- Pre-printed silicone (W2668, B0777, B1792, B2099, W2677, and the wider allergy / asthma / diabetes range): ship from Australian stock. 50–500 bands: same-day to 1–3 business days. 500+ bands: 1–3 business days subject to stock holding.
- Custom-engraved silicone: made to order in Australia. 50–500 bands: 10–14 business days. 500–1,000 bands: 14–21 business days. 1,000+ bands: by agreement.
- Stainless steel and gold: 14–21 business days for orders up to 100 bands; longer for larger volumes.

Invoicing and payment options
Mediband accommodates the procurement pathways common to each B2B segment:
- Schools and P&C: tax invoice on school letterhead with ABN, payable by EFT, BPAY or card. Approved schools and federations qualify for net-30 terms on standing orders.
- NDIS providers: invoice direct to NDIA (NDIS-registered supplier, provider 4050021192) for participant-funded bands, or to the plan manager. For SIL provider organisations, invoice the provider on net-30 against PO.
- RACFs and Aged Care providers: invoice the facility or operator on standard supplier terms. Some operators consolidate Mediband orders under a master agreement for multi-facility ownership groups.
- Hospitals: through procurement on net-30 against PO. Catalogue listing available for hospital purchasing systems on request.
- Charities and OSHC: standard invoicing with GST-inclusive tax invoice. Approved organisations qualify for net-30 terms.
For new institutional buyers, the first order typically runs prepaid; subsequent orders qualify for net-30 after an account-application review.

Can I mix pre-printed and custom-engraved bands in one bulk order?
Yes. Most school and RACF orders combine pre-printed silicone (W2668, B0777, B1792, W2677) for known condition profiles with custom-engraved bands for individuals with complex multi-condition needs. The combined total qualifies for the bulk pricing tier; lead times follow the slowest SKU in the order.
How does NDIS invoicing work for a SIL provider?
Mediband is an NDIS-registered supplier (provider 4050021192). For SIL group home residents whose bands are funded under their individual NDIS plan, we invoice the NDIA directly via the participant's plan or work through the plan manager. For bands funded by the SIL provider organisation (e.g. for new residents, replacement stock, or workforce-purchase bands), we invoice the provider on standard PO + net-30 terms.
Do you ship to remote and regional Australia?
Yes, Australia-wide. Standard shipping covers all postcodes including remote and regional Australia, with priority despatch available for time-critical orders. International shipping is also available for bulk orders to New Zealand, Ireland, the United Kingdom, and worldwide. Shipping is itemised separately on the quote.
Can we set up a standing monthly or quarterly order?
Yes — common with RACFs, NDIS group home networks, hospital systems, and large school districts. Standing orders qualify for Tier 5 negotiated pricing once the annualised volume exceeds 1,000 bands. Production is scheduled in advance against the agreed cadence; invoicing runs against PO + net-30.
