Testimonial by kelvin (lowestoft, , United Kingdom)another aussie icon added to my list
geelong footie club, bundarberg rum (well cats fans need something) john williamson, wicked campervans and memories of byron bay are now joined by "mediband".
my story is finding out about a heart birth defect at 33 and then suffering a pulmonary embolism twenty two years later and being put on warfarin for life. last year diabetes was added to the list. so when we planned a trip around the western and northern parts of australia this year my wife Gill insisted that i wear some form of medical alert other than relying on medics spotting the large box of drugs that would accompany me. i rejected most of the necklaces and other jewlery designed for this as not being me and then i found mediband and sent in an order, which was quickly acknowledged and despatched and so this month i have sent my second order. recently whilst having my flu jab the nurse on checking my inr warfain result card asked if i also wore anything and she was most impressed with the bands. thank you. kelvin roffe. suffolk, england 25/11/2008
